When I was with my friends on holiday they had this game, and I loved playing it so got it myself. It’s a massive game that everyone knows, and it really is good fun, even now in 2013! This game is more fun when playing with friends but is good on single-player mode as well.
There’s all your normal mario characters that you can play as or race against, however if you play single-card multiplayer the other players can only be shyguy, which is a little annoying. There are also different multiplayer modes which are good fun on different backgrounds (e.g. a giant DS!) and you can play people/friends online. There’s also a challenge mode, which is good for when you get bored of the single-player mode.
I’d recommend this game because it’s good fun and you can play your friends. The single-player’s a little boring but still good fun, and there’s always the challenge mode.
